Konami Digital Entertainment announced Legendary Modern Decks 2026, a new deck set for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, which will hit retail on March 13, 2026.
This deck set comes with three popular decks from the modern age of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG metagame. The first deck, Sky Strikers, is a deck archetype that appeared in 2018 and featured ace pilots in mech suits. Recently, a player piloted the deck all the way to the Top 4 of Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 (see “Message to ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG’ Players“).
The X-Sabers deck was another popular metagame deck in 2025. Cards used in this deck first appeared in 2009’s Hidden Arsenal set, but newer cards made the deck more viable in recent years. The third deck included in this set is a ritual-based deck revolving around “Mitsurugi.” This deck archetype contains newer cards and began to take shape with the release of Supreme Darkness (see “‘Supreme Darkness’“).
The set comes with 168 cards: 3 secret rares, 18 ultra rares, 144 commons, and 3 bonus secret rares. Each set will retail for $31.99.
