UVS Games has placed The King of Fighters XV: Challenger Series decks and playmats, for UniVersus CCG, onto preorder with an expected release date of January 30, 2025.
The King of Fighters XV: Challenger Series was announced as part of UVS Games’ 2026 lineup, adding another fighting IP to the UniVersus portfolio (see “‘UniVersus CCG’ Lineup“). There are two different decks in the display, Team Hero and Team Rival. Team Hero features KoFXV characters Benimaru, Shun’ei, and Meitenkun, and Team Rival has Dolores, Isla, and Heidern.
Each box comes with a ready-to-play 60-card deck, a learn-to-play booklet, and a collector pack with 6 random alt-art or alt-foil cards. The two playmats available showcase artwork of the characters from Team Hero on one playmat and Team Rival on the other. Each playmat comes in packaging that can either been hung on slat wall or displayed on a shelf.
