GAMA: The Tabletop Association has announced that GAMA Expo will be moving to Baltimore, MD in 2027.
GAMA Expo will be headed to Baltimore for the next six years through 2032. It will be held in the Baltimore Convention Center, which offers more space for exhibitors, classes, and meetings than Louisville. They also announced the next six dates for GAMA Expo, which are all in April: April 25-29, 2027; April 23-27, 2028; April 22-26, 2029; April 28-May 2, 2030; April 20-24, 2031 and April 25-29, 2032.
The reasons for the departure from Louisville, where GAMA Expo experienced significant growth in attendance (see “GAMA Expo 2025“), were not explicitly stated. However, while the convention center seemed to do an adequate job of hosting the show, there were various rumblings from the GAMA membership about how GAMA members from the LGBTIQ+ community had been harassed on different occasions while walking the city streets at night. Also, the Galt Hotel’s accommodations for the show were suspect as far as cleanliness went (see “Expo Wraps Up“).
