Marvel will collect post-Civil War Thunderbolts comics in Thunderbolts: Dark Reign Omnibus, a collection that will begin with Thunderbolts (1997) #76, which introduced a new creative team as well as a new set of Thunderbolts, and run through comics published in 2009. The 1,328-page hardcover will include Thunderbolts (1997) #76-81 and 110-143, Thunderbolts: Desperate Measures (2007), Thunderbolts: Breaking Point One-Shot (2007), Thunderbolts: International Incident One-Shot (2008), Thunderbolts: Reason in Madness One-Shot (2008), Penance: Relentless (2007)#1-5, Deadpool (2008) #8-9, Secret Warriors (2009) #7-9, Civil War: The Initiative (2007), and material from Civil War: Choosing Sides (2006). It will include work by writers Andy Diggle, Warren Ellis, Christos Gage, Rick Remender, Jeff Parker, Paul Jenkins, Daniel Way, Jonathan Hickman, and John Arcudi and artists Mike Deodato Jr., Fernando Blanco, Roberto De La Torre, Bong Dazo, Miguel Angel Sepulveda, Mahmud Asrar, Wellington Alves, Steve Lieber, Brian Denham, Ben Oliver, Paul Gulacy, Paco Medina, Alessandro Vitti, and Francisco Ruiz-Velasco, among others. The omnibus will go on sale on May 5, 2026, with two covers, a main cover by Marko Djurdjevic and a direct market exclusive cover by Mike Deodato Jr. MSRP is $150.
After the success of the Thunderbolts* movie, Marvel announced that the latest Thunderbolts comic series will actually be New Avengers (see “New Thunderbolts* Comic”).
