Wyrd Games will release two expansions to its Vagrantsong board game to trade in July: Vagrantsong: Encore and Vagrantsong: Off the Rails. Both were funded in a Kickstarter campaign last year, which raised $366,454 from 3,780 backers.
Vagrantsong: Encore includes an additional door, with new scenarios, Short Trip Mode, which allows exploration in smaller chunks, 6 Save Your Soul Scenarios, new In-Between cards, Skills, and Junk, Smoky Bones, and special dice that players earn and find to turn around back luck.
Vagrantsong: Off the Rails includes a new game mode that makes each Scenario more difficult and enhances replayability, Devious Deeds, new Objectives for each Vagrant that provide more character customization, a new type of rummage token, and more. The expansion does not include cards fo the stand-alone Scenarios.
Both expansions require the base game to play. Vagrantsong, a campaign board game based on American folklore and ghost stories, was released in 2021 (see “Wyrd Announces ‘Vagrantsong’”).
