Ogryn aren’t normally known for their mental prowess. But that’s not the case here in this scenario from Games Workshop for Necromunda. You want a psychic Ogryn? You’ve got it. Head through and download your copy now.
From the article:
The Ironhead Squat Prospectors are used to fighting out in the ash wastes – whether keeping Ash Waste Nomads away from their mines, or drilling through the hulls of poorly-defended Ridgehaulers. Now, a new scenario (inspired by some equally new lore) is sending them into the underhive – here’s Necromunda’s Andy Hoare to tell us all about it.
Welcome, fellow hive scum, to Apocrypha Necromunda! This is the first in an ongoing series of articles presenting a chunk of background, a new scenario, and free rules for your tabletop games. Those of you who play Warhammer: The Horus Heresy may recognise this format from the Exemplary Battles of the Age of Darkness series, so Necromunda players can now expect much the same.
We aim to explore a whole range of topics over the coming months, diving into areas of the underhive and the ash wastes only hinted at so far. The wastes are home to a wide range of locations, factions, and characters, and we’ll be finding out a lot more about these in future articles and new supplements.
For this first article, we wanted to explore how and why the denizens of the wastes might venture into Necromunda’s hive cities, allowing players to test their Ironhead Squats – Exo-Driller included – in the winding tunnels of the underhive. The Squats don’t get all the fun, though, as their underhive Outcast foe gets to try out something born of the insanity for which Necromunda is so well known – a psychic Ogryn!
