Details are now available for the Planet of the Apes RPG: Solo Play Rulebook, a new RPG book by Magnetic Press, which will hit retail on September 1, 2026.
This book was originally announced back in March 2026 (see “Fall Releases“). It allows players to take on the role of a single ape (or human) against an entire planet of apes. The book follows up core rules with tools that allow players to design and play solo Planet of the Apes RPG campaigns using various oracles, emulator tables, and quick-reference charts. The tables and charts can also be used by Lawgivers (GMs) to forge plots and conflicts for multiplayer games. The book also comes with three adventures that feature different styles of gameplay.
This book requires Planet of the Apes RPG to play (see “‘Planet of the Apes RPG’“); it will retail for $34.99.
