Stonemaier Games Announces 'Wingspan Pocket'

Stonemaier Games announced Wingspan Pocket, a new lighter version of the hit bird-watching game, which will be available at Gen Con 2026.

Wingspan Pocket, designed by Elizabeth Hargrave with art by Natalia Rojas and Ana Maria Martinez, boils the original game of Wingspan down a shorter, lightweight card game for fans to enjoy.  In this game, players each activate a single row of cards on each of their turns. Cards are double-sided, featuring a food and a bird side, and icons have been substituted for the Bird ability text.  It is a standalone Wingspan game that features 106 birds from around the world and is designed for both new and experienced players can enjoy.

This game is for one to five players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 25 to 35 minutes.

Stonemaier Games also announced Duel of Meloch, a new Scythes vs. Expeditions standalone game (see “‘Duel of Meloch’“).
