The Pokémon Company and Aardman have shared new details and official artwork for Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu, a stop-motion animated series scheduled to debut in 2027. The series stars Sirfetch’d and Pichu as its central characters and will present the Pokémon world from the perspective of Pokémon rather than Trainers. Set in a familiar region that holds special significance for Aardman, the project blends the studio’s signature handcrafted animation, comedy and storytelling style with the Pokémon franchise. Newly released artwork and teaser footage offer an early look at the series’ charming stop-motion aesthetic, highlighting what could become one of Pokémon’s most distinctive animated projects in recent years.
