Dynamite Entertainment has announced that the second printing of Ben 10 #1 and the first printing of Ben 10 #2 have both sold out at the distributor level and new printings of both, with new covers, are in the works.
As with the second printing of Ben 10 #1 (see “First-Issue Sales of ‘Ben 10’ Top 112,000”), the new covers will feature character designs by interior artist Robert Carey. They will be available in three formats: Cover A, open to order; Cover B, a black and white version, is a 1:7 retailer incentive, and Cover C, without trade dress, is a 1:10 retailer incentive. FOC date is June 15 and on-sale date is July 8 for both new printings.
In announcing the reprint for issue #1, Dynamite revealed that Ben 10 #2 had initial orders of 83,000, which was higher than initial orders for Ben 10 #1.
