Fantasy Flight Games unveiled Icons, a new Star Wars Unlimited booster set, which will hit stores in 2027.
Icons is a smaller 194-card set (normal sets are over 250 cards) that focuses on fan-favorite characters. The commons and some of the uncommons in this set are reprints of cards that feature some of the primary mechanics of the game so that new players can use the set as an entry point. The rares and Legendary cards in the set are all completely new to the game, and some of these cards will boost the power levels of the game.
The set will consist of standard display boxes, booster four-packs, and new Starter Boxes; there are no Spotlight Decks or Carbonite Edition boosters (see “‘Star Wars Unlimited’“) for this set. Packs come with 9 cards: 3 commons, a slot for a leader or common card, a Hyperspace common card, 2 uncommon cards, a rare or legendary rare, and a Hyperspace foil card. The booster four-packs are essentially jumbo booster packs, and the Starter Boxs come with two pre-constructed 30-card decks and gameplay aids to walk players through their first games of Star Wars Unlimited.
