Legends of Avantris’ Neon Odyssey TTRPG project ended its crowdfunding run on Kickstarter by raising $16.14 million from 49,116 backers (about $329 per backer).
This crowdfunding effort was good enough to boost the Neon Odyssey project’s total amount raised past Cosmere RPG (see “Smashes Kickstarter“) and Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG (see “Rolls Past $13.29 Million“) to make it the most-funded RPG project of all-time. It lands second on the all-time most funded tabletop games list behind Cyberpunk TCG (see “Smashes Tabletop Kickstarter Funding Record by Over $10 Million“). The project offered up three books for the brand-new sci-fi RPG by The Crooked Moon creators: Outrunner’s Handbook (a character guide), Cosmic Codex (setting book), and Overdrive Expansion (expansion book). It is estimated to be delivered in Q4 2027; thus far, there is no word on a retail release (see “‘Neon Odyssey TTRPG’ Project“).
