Alderac Entertainment Group and Flatout Games will release Alpine Lakes, a new board game expansion for Cascadia, which will hit stores on October 30, 2026.
Alpine Lakes is a new standalone expansion that explores the ecosystem of the Pacific Northwest. The game features new, unique combinations of scoring objectives that revolve around the linking five alpine species together in three habitats. Each turn players select a tile or token set and place it into their ecosystem; they can layer tiles to add elevation to the habitat. Points are scored based on how their wildlife is arranged in this spatial puzzle game.
It is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes. This game will retail for $49.99.
Alderac Entertainment Group also recently revealed Jumblejack, a new party game (see “AEG Reveals ‘Jumblejack’“).
