Mad Cave Studios will release a graphic biography of inventor and innovator Nikola Tesla, another title from Italian publisher Becco Giallo, first released in the U.S. digitally by comiXology Originals. Written by Sergio Rossi with art by Giovanni Scarduelli, the volume frames the fictionalized biography as an attempt by two filmmakers to make sense of his life.
One-time employee of inventor Thomas Edison, Tesla, who immigrated to the U.S. from Serbia, eventually led a battle on behalf of alternating current against Edison, who favored DC power. Tesla prevailed and also developed numerous other technologies, earning over 200 patents in his lifetime.
The 128-page trade paperback will be released on August 11 at $19.99 MSRP.
