Wizards of the Coast updated details on Marvel Super Heroes, a new Magic: The Gathering booster set, which will hit stores on June 26, 2026.
Marvel Super Heroes follows up last year’s Marvel’s Spider-Man release (see “Product Line Deets Revealed“) with a set chock-full of comic book-style card treatments for fans to collect. The bulk of the characters in this set seem to come right out the pages of the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil comics, including characters like The Incredible Hulk, Thanos, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and others.
The headline card for this set is The Mind Stone card (see “Only One Infinity Stone in Next ‘Magic’ Marvel Set“), which, aside from its normal foil and non-foil versions, comes in a Thanos art treatment and a borderless Infinity Stone treatment. Beyond The Mind Stone, the set features an array of cards in various treatments. Source Material treatment cards return in this set as well as Borderless Classic Comic Cover cards and Showcase Panel cards. There are also Borderless Scene cards to collect, and new Borderless Logo cards that showcase a character positioned in front of their Marvel comics logo. In addition, the set includes full-art lands depicting the cityscape in states of both calm and chaos.
The set also includes new flip cards of popular characters as well as reprints on the bonus sheet. The reprints include the Marvel characters released in 2024’s Secret Lair X Marvel Superdrop (see “Superdrop“) as well as other mainstay Modern and Legacy cards like Ephemerate, Harbinger of the Seas, Show and Tell, and Force of Vigor.
