Marvel Comics will adapt the Disney+ series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off from The Mandalorian, in a seven-issue series launching in September. The new series, written by Rodney Barnes with art by Will Sliney, will introduce several characters into comics for the first time, including Garsa Fwip, Dokk Strassi, Mok Shaloz’s majordomo and others. The storyline takes place as Boba Fett takes over Jabba the Hutt’s syndicate.
The A cover of the first issue is by Alex Maleev, with variants by E.M. Gist, Jerry Ordway, Pete Woods, and a foil variant by Rickie Yagawa.
Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett #1 will go on sale on September 9.
