U.S. Sales Decline
Funko continued to show losses in Q1 2026 on declining U.S. sales, despite increasing sales worldwide. The company lost $18.1 million in the quarter, an improvement from the $27.6 million loss in the same quarter a year ago. U.S. sales declined 3.7 percent to $117.4 million from $121.9 million in Q1 2025, a less dramatic decline than the 12% U.S. sales decline in Q4 (see “Funko Improves Position”). Worldwide sales were up 5.3% to $200.9 million behind 25.6% growth in Europe.
Core collectible sales were up 16.8%, while Loungefly and Other sales showed sharp declines.
Funko has applied for its $20 million tariff refund, but says it is uncertain as to when the refund will be received. The company said it expects flat to 3 percent growth in sales for Q2.
