Adorable Symbiote Gets First Print Comic Ahead of Disney Jr. Appearance
Marvel Comics is promoting Symbie, the adorable symbiote to full headline status in It’s Symbie #1, a one-shot that will collect the digital Symbie Infinity Comic, by writer and artist Jacob Chabot; his appearances in Marvel Mutts Infinity Comic, by Mackenzie Cadenhead and Enid Balám; and his first appearance, from Amazing Spider-Man #11, by Joe Kelly and Pepe Larraz. For completists, that’s every Symbie appearance… so far. The character is slated to make its TV debut in the next season of the Disney Jr. series Spidey and His Amazing Friends. It’s Symbie #1 will be released on July 8, 2026, with a main cover by Chabot and a variant by Sergio Dávila.
Symbie is just the latest character to bring a cute vibe to the Marvel universe, following in the wake of Jeff the Land Shark (see “Jeff the Land Shark Meets Daredevil”).
