Iron Circus will publish a print edition of the webcomic Unsounded, an epic fantasy tale by Ashley Cope, who has over 300,000 fans online. Cope serialized the comic on her own website from 2010 to 2025 and self-published three volumes. Iron Circus is crowdfunding a new edition, with plans to publish the entire comic in six volumes, two per year, and the Kickstarter campaign for the first two volumes raised $154,653 from 2,265 backers. Each of the first two volumes will include a print-only short story. Cope is recompiling the chapters from the original volumes to better fit the new format as well as touching up the artwork. The first volume, a 240-page paperback, will be released on June 9, 2026, with an MSRP of $30, and the second volume, with 360-pages, is due out on October 13 with an MSRP of $35.
Unsounded follows the daughter of the Lord of Thieves and her companion, a zombie, on a mission that evolves into an epic adventure with elements of horror, action, heroics, drawn in several different styles.
Iron Circus is distributed by Consortium. Their print edition of Lackadaisy was nominated for a 2025 Eisner Award (see “ICv2 Nominated for Eisner Award”).
