Roxley will release Excalibur, a new lighthearted bluffing game, into retail on May 13, 2026.
In this party game, designed by Manny Trembley, players will try to find Excalibur and then use bluffing and subterfuge to become the king or queen. The game begins with players claiming faced-down chips from the Avalon pile in the center of the table. Each chip has different characters that have special abilities to help aid in the search for Excalibur. These abilities allow players to swap, steal, and peek at other chips from players.
The goal of the game is be the player with the Excalibur chip at the end of the game, and become King or Queen. The game also has other end game possibilities when players end up with a Cursed Blade or no one finds Excalibur. The game is for two to eight players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 15 to 25 minutes. It will retail for $20.
Roxley Games also released Riddle of the Sphinx, a new expansion for Santorini (see “New ‘Santorini’ Expansion“).
