DC Comics plans a rapid-fire release of DC K.O. trades in August, with five titles (one in both hardcover and softcover) hitting shelves within three weeks.
Anchored by the eponymous DC K.O. limited series, the crossover event is a five-level tournament pitting DC characters against one another in a series of battles (see “Scott Snyder, Joshua Williamson to Helm ‘DC K.O.’”). The monthly comics have sold well, with the first two issues of DC K.O. among the top 50 comics of 2025, according to ComicHub (see “Top 50 Comics – Full Year 2025”).
The release schedule for the trades is as follows:
- DC K.O., by writers Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson and artists Javier Fernandez, and Xermanico, collecting DC K.O. #1-5 (August 4; $19.99 Paperback / $29.99 Hardcover)
- DC K.O. All Fight, collecting Superman vs. Captain Atom #1, Aquaman #12, DC K.O.: Wonder Woman vs. Lobo #1, Titans #30, DC K.O.: Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna #1, The Flash #28, Superman #33, and DC K.O.: Red Hood vs. Joker#1 (August 4; $19.99)
- DC K.O.: Battle Royale, by writers Joshua Williamson and Jeremy Adams and artists Dan Mora, Ronan Cliquet, Cian Tormey, and others, collecting DC K.O. Knightfight #1-4, DC K.O.: The Kids Are All Fight Special #1, DC K.O.: Green Lantern Galactic Slam #1, and DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 (August 4; $19.99)
- DC K.O.: Superman, by writer Joshua Williamson and artists Dan Mora, Eddy Barrows, and Hayden Sherman, collecting Superman #28-35 (August 11; $17.99)
- DC K.O.: Justice League Unlimited, by writer Mark Waid and artist Dan Mora, collecting Justice League Unlimited#12-16 (August 18; $17.99)
DC used a similar schedule for the hardcover releases of Knight Terrors, the horror crossover that ran in July and August 2023 (see “DC to Publish ‘Knight Terrors’ Collected Editions”).
