Smirk & Dagger Games will release Devious, an anti-set collection game, into retail on April 15, 2026.
In this game, players are trying to claim the crown of the faerie kingdom by building the strongest faerie alliance they can. The game takes place over the course of five rounds where players must try to build a personal tableau with a single faerie from each of the faerie tribes. Higher ranking faeries provide more points, but taking on a second faerie from a tribe negates the score from the first faerie. If a player accumulates three faeries from a single tribe, they can have negative scores.
The faeries have abilities for players to use in the game; the highest Rank plays their card into their tableau and executes the faerie’s ability. Certain faerie powers are used only in scoring; the highest score wins the game at the end. This game is for two to six players and will retail for $24.99.
Smirk & Dagger will also release Boop Shuffle, a new card game, into retail in April 2026 (see “‘Boop Shuffle’ Heads to Retail“).
