The first Craniacs trade paperback, due out in June 2026, will have a wraparound cover by series artist Joe Simko, who is also an artist for Topps’ Garbage Pail Kids trading cards. Simko and former Topps exec Ira Friedman created Craniacs as a new trading card series, featuring two groups of skull-faced characters, one from the future and one from ancient times. Titan launched the comic series, scripted by veteran comics writer Sholly Fisch (Madballs vs. Garbage Pail Kids, Teen Titans, Scooby-Doo), in 2025 (see “Titan Takes ‘Craniacs’ to Comics”). The trade collects the first four issues of the series and will be released in comic shops on June 10 and in bookstores on June 23. Titmouse is developing an animated series (see “‘Craniacs’ Gets Development Deal“).
