Looney Labs Explores 'Seven Islands'

Looney Labs has announced Seven Islands, an island-hopping race game with a moving finish line.  The game will release in June.

Imagined as a reality tv show, Seven Islands presents a race across an archipelago of tiny islands linked together by bridges.  Each two-contestant team tries to meet up at the island with the beacon that matches the sails of a passing ship before a different ship arrives and changes the objective.

Seven Islands can also be played as a solitaire puzzle game that challenges the player to assemble the perfect archipelago using the game’s terrain cards.

The game was created by Andrew Looney (Fluxx, Zendo) and features artwork by Robin Sevakis (Dog Fluxx, Flippin’ Ninjas).  Intended for one to four players, ages eight and up.  Games take under half an hour to play.  MSRP $20.00.  Also available in a six-count countertop display box.

Looney Labs released Dog Fluxx earlier this month (see “Looney Labs Announces ‘Dog Fluxx’”).
