Stonemaier Games released its annual Stakeholder Report for 2025, reporting record sales for the year behind a growing product line and its largest release for the year, Finspan. Sales for 2025 were $25.1 million, narrowly beating the previous record of $24.7 million in 2021. Sales in 2024 were $23.7 million (see “Stonemaier Sales Up in 2024”).
The biggest release in 2025 was authorized Wingspan spin-off Finspan, which sold 233,584 copies across all languages in the year.
By channel, Stonemaier made 34% of its sales through distribution and 9% direct to retailers for a total of 43% through trade. Other channels included 19% through localization, 21% from the Stonemaier webstore, 13% through Amazon FBA and 4% through digital (royalties). It’s worth noting that since the trade sales were made at wholesale, they accounted for a large majority of copies sold, although a smaller percentage of revenue.
The report noted that Stonemaier did not raise prices in 2025, despite the increased tariff taxes paid.
