Bandai unveiled their upcoming Gundam Assemble product line, a new miniatures skirmish game, which will hit retail in 2026.
This miniatures game was previewed at Bandai’s Gen Con 2025 booth (see “Gen Con 2025“). This miniatures game utilizes Gunpla models to play a skirmish-style miniatures game where players command units with unique traits and abilities. The Gen Con preview showed off some of the models; at GAMA Expo, Bandai released more information about the product.
The game, itself, was designed by Justin Gary of Stone Blade Entertainment, who also designed Oshi Push and the Ascension games (see “‘Ascension Legends’“). The entry level products will be a Starter Set and a Deluxe Set. The Starter Set supports three Gunpla versus three Gunpla battles; the Deluxe Set will offer players a five Gunpla versus five Gunpla game. Players can personalize their teams with expansion packs, which can be mixed and matched to optimize teams.
