Free League Publishing unveiled The Shadow over Innsmouth, a new hardcover illustrated edition of H.P. Lovecraft’s classic tale, which is currently on preorder.
This quintessential Lovecraft story (see “‘The Shadow Over Innsmouth’“) tells the tale of a student’s visit to the coastal settlement of Innsmouth. There, he runs into its fishy denizens, which eventually leads to him discovering the dark history of the town, a cult, and a pact the town made with the Deep Ones. The book is illustrated by Francois Baranger, who also provided artwork for Free League’s The Dunwich Horror and Mountains of Madness books (see “‘The Dunwich Horror’” and also, “Baranger’s ‘Mountains of Madness’“).
This 72-page book will be presented in a folio format and will retail for $38.36. It will release later in 2026.
