Into U.S. Retail
Rio Grande Games will release Formidable Farm, a new board game by Friedmann Friese, into U.S. retail.
In this game, players take on the roles of farmers trying to please the local population of villagers by making their produce wishes come true. They will set up trades between the villagers that involve handing over fresh produce and livestock for other goods on market day. It is essentially a contract fulfillment game that involves a degree of hand management and racing mechanics. The player that fulfills the village population’s wishes first wins the game.
The game supports one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes. It will retail for $44.95.
Rio Grande Games also recently release Gadget Builder, a new card game by Tom Lehmann, into retail (see “‘Gadget Builder’“).
