The Toy Association has added three new members to their board of directors from game companies.
The three new members of the board include CEO of Spin Master Christina Miller, U.S. Commercial General Manager of Asmodee Group Julien Sharp (see “Julien Sharp“), and CEO of Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, Inc. Teppei Onoki. These new board members represent somewhat of a shift in The Toy Association’s board makeup, adding more professionals from the toy-adjacent games space to the group’s leadership. Duncan Billing, the chair of the board of advisors at Moose Toys, will also serve on the board for another term. Moose Toys recently bought Bananagrams (see “‘Bananagrams’ Acquired“). Tim Kiplin, president of toys, licensing, and entertainment at Hasbro, is also on the board for another term, and will serve as vice-chairperson.
The Toy Association also announced that Geoffrey Greenberg, co-CEO of Just Play, will assume the role of chairperson. He replaces outgoing chairperson Sharon Price John, President and CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop.
