Cody Ziglar’s run on Miles Morales: Spider-Man ended in January 2026, but there’s more in store: Marvel Comics is collecting the first six issues of Astonishing Miles Morales: Spider-Man Infinity Comic, the digital companion comic that ran on the Marvel Unlimited platform, into a one-shot comic, Astonishing Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1. Written by Ziglar, with art by Alessandro Miracolo and IG Guara, the one-shot is a standalone story that digs into Miles’ personal life and features appearances by Hightail and Bumbler. Astonishing Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1 will go on sale on May 6, 2026, with a main cover by Taurin Clarke and a variant by Paco Medina.
“One thing that I really enjoy about the possibilities of Astonishing Miles Morales: Spider-Man is that it lets us explore parts of Miles that I didn’t have room to cover in the main book: mostly his school life and his family life—things that I really enjoy writing, but because the nature of the beast, I wasn’t able to dive in them into them as fully as I would like,” Ziglar said when the Infinity Comic was launched. “It’s nice being able to check in on Miles’ school life and personal life and fill out areas that I thought were lacking in the main book.”
