The Pokemon Company International Announces Super Bowl LX Commercial

The Pokemon Company International announced that it has purchased a Super Bowl LX ad spot to air on February 8, 2026 during the game.

The Super Bowl LX commercial illustrates a few major points for the Pokemon brand.  The spot kicks off their yearlong 30th anniversary celebration campaign.  This campaign will commemorate the launch of the brand and its growing audience over the last 30 years.  The commercial will also highlight the brand’s mission of bringing fans together as a community through a love of Pokemon.

“The Pokemon community has been the foundation and inspiration for the brand since the very beginning, and the passion of our fans is what has allowed Pokemon to have a lasting impact on pop culture around the world and across generations,” said Kenji Okubo, President of The Pokemon Company International.  “As we look to the next 30 years and beyond, we invite Trainers to join in celebrating this landmark milestone, starting with Super Bowl LX, where they’ll see themselves and their fandom reflected in unexpected ways.”

As part of the 30th anniversary campaign, Pokemon TCG retailers can celebrate Pokemon Day on February 27, 2026. The company has released a Pokemon Day 2026 Collection for this event (see “New ‘Pokemon Day 2026 Collection’“).  They also released a teaser for the Super Bowl LX commercial (see below).
