Bandai will release Freedom Ascension, a new booster set for Gundam Card Game, into retail on July 24, 2026.
Gundam CG is turning one year old (see “The Most Buzzworthy Games of Gen Con“), and Bandai is releasing a booster set featuring characters/suits from Mobile Fighter Gundam and Seed Destiny to celebrate. The set adds new strategies to the mix for players to try out; it also contains alternate art cards for collectors to chase. The set has 138 + 10 card types as well as 65 cards with alternate art.
The rarity scheme breaks down as follows: 50 commons, 36 uncommons, 32 rares, 12 legend rares, 8 specials, 8 Special EX Resources, and 2 token cards. Packs come with 12 random cards, booster displays contain 24 packs.
