Dynamite Entertainment will launch a major editorial event crossing over the ThunderCats and SilverHawks properties with the launch of three comic miniseries in April. The three titles will each run five issues; the event will end in August. The event kick-off in April follows ThunderCats #25 and the set-up one-shot ThunderCats X SilverHawks: Road to War in March. The three first issues in April are:
ThunderCats X SilverHawks #1, written and drawn by Declan Shalvey, will feature 30 story pages in which Panthro launches a satellite over Third Earth that attracts the attention of three of the SilverHawks, who travel to investigate.
ThunderCats X SilverHawks: Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living #1, written by Shalvey with art by Ralph Lobosco, reveals the history of the archnemesis of the entire franchise in a story that interweaves with the larger narrative.
ThunderCats X SilverHawks: ThunderHawks #1, written by Ed Brisson with art by Vincenzo Federici, starts after events in the Road to War Special with the Lost team from ThunderCats: Lost in Time (see “’ThunderCats’ Blind Bag Special“) trapped in the far future trying to get back to stop the imminent war in SilverHawks bionic suits.
