DC 'All In Act II': Tom King Takes Over on 'Wonder Woman'; Matt Fraction, Tom Taylor Stay on Batman Titles

DC’s All In Act II, launching in March 2026, will bring new story arcs, new creative teams, new titles, and even a new character to their flagship titles, while Green Lantern marks its 600th issue with #33 in the current numbering. The new story arcs follow the end of the DC K.O. event (see “Scott Snyder, Joshua Williamson to Helm ‘DC K.O.’”), and the news follows the announcement of the first three titles in the Next Level initiative (see “DC Reveals Covers, Creative Teams for First ‘Next Level’ Series”).

Tom King and Daniel Sampere will take over creative duties on Wonder Woman with issue #31, kicking off a new story arc, “Wonder War,” which pits Wonder Woman and her daughter Trinity against the Matriarch in a battle set 20 years in the future.

Both Batman titles retain their creative teams. Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez will start a new arc in Batman #7, ramping up the war between the Gotham authorities and the Bat-Family in an oversize issue with an interior gatefold sequence that brings readers deep inside the mind of The Joker. Tom Taylor and Pete Woods also pivot in Detective Comics #1107, with a new mystery for Batman, Black Canary, and Green Arrow to unravel. Artist Denys Cowan joins writer Dan Watters for an exploration of Blüdhaven’s urban legends starting with Nightwing #136

Following directly from the end of DC K.O., “Reign of the Superboys” will run across four Superman titles, launching in Action Comics #1096, by Mark Waid and Skylar Partridge, with the Clark Kent of the past coming face to face with the Justice League Unlimited of today. In Supergirl #11, by Sophie Campbell, Kara loses her powers but gets a cybernetic upgrade when she travels to the bottled city of Kandor to join Conner Kent/Superboy and the Boy Thunder clones in a revolution there. The saga continues in Superman Unlimited #11, by Dan Slott and Lucas Meyer, which features Jon Kent and will debut a new character, Tomorrow Man, and Superman #36, by Joshua Williamson and Dan Mora, featuring Superboy Prime.

Other DC announcements:

  • Green Lantern #33 is #600 in legacy numbering; this will be an oversized 56-page issue with stories by Jeremy Adams, Ron Marz, Xermanico, Darryl Banks, and more.
  • Ryan North and Gavin Guidry take over as the new creative team on The Flash with issue #31.
  • Aquaman will be officially renamed Emperor Aquaman with issue #15, as Jeremy Adams and John Timms send the title character off on a new mission, with the Crimson Queen standing in his way.
  • Titans becomes New Titans with issue #31, with the Titans getting off to a rough start as they lose trust in one another. Tate Brombal and Sami Basri take over as the new creative team.
  • Justice League Unlimited #17 will pick up after the events of DC K.O. #5, with Mark Waid and Clayton Henry prepping some big changes for the DCU villains.
