“You got your sci-fi in my fantasy RPG!” “You got your fantasy in my sci-fi RPG!” But, like a peanut butter cup, that’s two great tastes that taste great together. Expedition From the Mysterious Peaks is a new RPG adventure that blends fantasy and sci-fi together to bring you some unique times, all based around D&D 5th Edition. The adventure is up on Kickstarter now.

Alligator Alley Entertainment presents its third project for its expanded 5E universe.
Expedition from the Mysterious Peaks is an action packed, dual-genre adventure series inspired by an iconic adventure classic. It’s powered by the 5th edition of the world’s greatest roleplaying game.
Play as a legendary fantasy hero, a dauntless space explorer, or both! The adventure series can be played in multiple ways:
- Using Standard 5E: You can play using the standard 5th Edition core rules and supplements, including the free Basic Rules.
- Using Esper Genesis: You can play using Esper Genesis, the comprehensive sci-fi rules system and setting for 5E.
- Using Both Rulesets: You can also combine the two sets of rules to create a limitless number of character options and combinations.
The adventure series can be played from start to finish regardless of your choice of rules. Supplemental rules, setting information, and pregens are provided to allow play with either ruleset.
The campaign’s just up and over its funding goal with 27 days left to go.
