Upcoming Set Features ‘Fantastic Four,’ ‘Avengers,’ and ‘Thunderbolts’ Characters
Wizards of the Coast previewed the Marvel Super Heroes set, for Magic: The Gathering, which is scheduled to hit stores in June 2026.
WotC rolled out their first preview of the cards that will be included in the Marvel Super Heroes set, perhaps to receive some early feedback from fans about the cards. The new set seems to be a catch all for about any character that has appeared in a Fantastic Four, Avengers, or Thunderbolts comic over the years. It includes fan favorite heroes like The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and even Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. On the villains side, Doctor Doom, Super-Skrull, and Galactus (as a Saga card) are all in the set.
Unlike the Spider-Man release, WotC will include Commander Decks for this set, one of which will be The Fantastic Four Commander Deck. There are also plenty of card treatments in this set. Classic comic cards, borderless source material cards, and borderless panel cards will all make a return in this set.
