Ablaze Publishing has signed with Simon & Schuster Publishing Services for worldwide book channel distribution, including sales, fulfillment, logistics and distribution, the companies announced. The new relationship will be effective February 1, 2026. Simon & Schuster will seek to place Ablaze titles in major bookstore chains, independent booksellers, online retailers, and libraries.
Ablaze Publishing Co-Founder Rich Young explained the reasons for the choice. “Joining with Simon & Schuster gives us world‑class reach and infrastructure to bring our graphic novels to readers in every channel,” he said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “We believe this alliance will expand our audience and support our mission of delivering bold and innovative storytelling.”
Ablaze Publishing has been one of the companies seeking to retrieve the consignment inventory that was in the Diamond Comic Distributors warehouse at the time of the bankruptcy filing, an issue that has now moved to an adversary proceeding in Maryland bankruptcy court (see “Diamond Files Adversary Proceedings“).
