Games Workshop has placed Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, a new miniatures board game, onto preorder.
In this game, players assume the roles of heroes attempting to purify the corrupted Jade Abbey. The game takes place over the course of multiple missions where players will try to destroy the enemies within the abbey, all while picking up experience and valuable items to help them on their quest. As they build up their characters, they will eventually do battle with stronger enemies, including Gelgus Pust. This version of Warhammer Quest also streamlines some of the rules from the previous Warhammer Quest games (see “Review: ‘Warhammer Quest: Lost Relics’“).
The boxed set comes with 49 push-fit plastic miniatures, 2 treasure tokens, 2 living rot tokens, a 36-page softcover rulebook, a 38-page hardcover map book, 341 cards, a double-sided quick start guide, 14 dice, and more. It is for one to four players, ages 12 and up, plays in 45 minutes, and will retail for $255.00. This product will ship on December 13, 2025.
