DC will release Legends Omnibus, collecting the core 1986 Legends six-issue series and related stories from the crossover event, in April. Legends was the first DC crossover after Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The 856-page omnibus will feature writing by John Ostrander, Len Wein, Paul Levitz, J.M. DeMatteis, and others, with art by John Byrne, Keith Giffen, Luke McDonnell and others. Cover is by Byrne.
The volume will feature a new foreword by Mike Gold, introduction by John Ostrander, and behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Crisis on Infinite Earths sequel.
In the story, the legends of the DC universe are being targeted as traitors, as Darkseid works to turn the world against the heroes. DC heroes around the world must unite to overcome the hate spreading around the world and reclaim the good in all people.
The Legends Omnibus will collect Legends #1-6, Batman #401, Detective Comics #568, Green Lantern Corps #207, Cosmic Boy #1-4, Justice League of America #258-261, Secret Origins #10 and #14, The Fury of Firestorm #55-56 and #58-59, Blue Beetle #9-10, The Warlord #114-115, Superman #3, Adventures of Superman #426, and Action Comics #586.
The new omnibus will be released on April 21, 2026 at $125 MSRP.
