Following a Kickstarter campaign that pulled in over $1.75 million in pledges from over 21,000 backers, Oni Press will release its first Murder Drones comics to the direct market starting in February 2026. The Kickstarter campaign, which was the fourth-highest grossing comics campaign in the platform’s history, funded a graphic novel adaptation of the first season of Glitch Productions’ animated series (see “Oni, Glitch, Team Up for ‘Murder Drones’”). Oni will now release the material, by writer Wyatt Kennedy and artist Jo Mi-Gyeong, as a six-issue series. The first issue will be released on February 26, 2026, with covers by Alessio Zonno, Mi-Gyeong, and Krooked Glasses, as well as a 1:10 full art variant by Krooked Glasses, a 1:20 full art variant by Mi-Gyeong, a 1:50 variant by Patricia Martín, and a 1:100 variant by Lysandra Vuong.
