Wonderful World Board Games will release Dragonarium, a new board game, into retail in Q2 2026. This board game will also be placed on Kickstarter for crowdfunding soon.
In Dragonarium, designed by Wei Chang and Kuan Chen, players compete for the title of Imperial Dragon Hatchery Minister in a tile-placement game that also features drafting and resource management elements. This game takes place over the course of 12 rounds where players draft tiles with one or two land types on them and use them to build out their dragonarium.
The lands activate element tokens (fire, water, wind, and light) that can be used as energy to hatch dragons found on the tiles. Players can further connect their domains, in order to share elements on placed dragons, to optimize their dragonarium as they attempt to win the game and become the new Hatchery Minister.
This game is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes. It will retail for $39.99.
