This ICv2 calendar tracks the release dates of Magic: The Gathering sets made by Wizards of the Coast. The calendar begins with releases coming out on January 1, 2026 and runs till January 1, 2027 (this is a running article that will be located in the Calendar section of the ICv2 website). Q1 2026
Lorwyn Eclipsed
Release Date: January 23, 2026
Standard set features a return to the planes of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor after 15 years (see “‘Magic: The Gathering’ ‘Lorwyn Eclipsed’“).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Release Date: March 6, 2026
The first Universes Beyond set of 2026 heads deep into the sewers to find four pizza-loving turtles and their friends. These TMT-bugged cards will be legal in all formats, and there will also be TMC cards legal in Eternal formats (see “Cowabunga, Dudes!“).
Q2 2026
Secrets of Strixhaven
Release Date: April 2026
The second Standard set of 2026 returns to the mages’ school of Strixhaven (see “Announces Two ‘Magic: The Gathering’ Sets “).
Marvel’s Super Heroes
Release Date: June 2026
This set will be the follow up to Marvel’s Spider-Man (see “Product Line Deets Revealed“), and it will include an array of heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe (see “Lineup“).
Q3 2026
The Hobbit
Release Date: August 2026
The third Universes Beyond set announced was The Hobbit. WotC and Magic: The Gathering will make a return to Middle-Earth in August 2026 by releasing a set that focuses on the journey of Bilbo Baggins (see “Lineup“).
Q4 2026
Reality Fracture
Release Date: October 2026
The October 2026 set is named Reality Fracture, and it is an in-universe set. More details on this will be released in the future (see “Lineup“).
Star Trek
Release Date: November 2026
WotC will be boldly going where no Magic set has gone before. WotC has licensed Star Trek for their fourth Universes Beyond set of 2026 (see “Lineup“). Source: ICv2
