Warlord Games revealed For the Emperor! Japanese Starter Army for Bolt Action 3E miniatures game, which will release in January 2026.
The new starter army for Bolt Action 3E (see “‘Bolt Action 3E’“) offers players 42 plastic infantry pieces to build up their Japanese forces. It contains a wide variety of components that lets players assemble various squads and units in the Imperial Japanese Army, Special Naval Landing Forces, or Jungle Veterans. It also includes armor and artillery units to add a little extra firepower on the Pacific theater battlefields.
The boxed set comes with 42 multi-pose plastic Japanese Infantry, a Type 91 105mm Howitzer (Metal), a plastic Chi-Ha medium tank, a resin and metal Ho-Ro assault gun, bases, decals, and vehicle damage markers. It will retail for $166.00.
