Alderac Entertainment Group will release Into the Machine, a new board game funded on Kickstarter, to trade in 2026. The Kickstarter campaign raised $212,353 from 3,445 backers in September 2025.
Into the Machine, designed by Kasper Lapp (5 Towers, Fun Facts) with art by Len H. Nicholas, is a race game featuring bots as the competitors. Players seek to upgrade their bots and be the first team to move through the machine and onto the leaderboard. Key elements include the players’ circle-bots, the hex-bots that race in reverse, and the bot pit crew, all on a modular track.
Box contents include 2 Double-sided Machine boards, 1 Terminal board, 4 Circle terminal tiles, 6 Triangle terminal tiles, 5 Square terminal tiles, 27 Power cards, 10 Player Reference cards, 60 Wood circlebots (12 in each color), 40 Wood trianglebots (8 in each color), 30 Wood squarebots (6 in each color), 15 Wood hexbots (3 in each color), 5 Two-piece storage & inactive supply boxes, Rulebook and Ding-Ding! turn token.
Into the Machine, for 2-5 players ages 10 and up, plays in 45-60 minutes. It will be released on May 29, 2026 at $49.99 MSRP.
