Beginning with ‘Elseworlds: Batman Omnibus Vol. 1’
DC Comics will collect the Batman Elseworld stories in omnibus editions, beginning with Elseworlds: Batman Omnibus Vol. 1, which will street in March.
The first volume will collect many key Elseworlds stories, including those from Batman: Gotham by Gaslight #1; Batman: Holy Terror #1; Batman & Dracula: Red Rain #1; Batman: Master of the Future #1; Batman: The Blue, the Grey, and the Bat #1; Robin 3000 #1-2; Batman/Houdini: The Devil’s Workshop #1; Batman: Dark Joker – The Wild #1; Batman: In Darkest Knight #1; Catwoman Annual #1; Detective Comics Annual #7; Batman Annual #18; Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #4; Batman: Shadow of the Bat Annual #2; Robin Annual #3; Batman: Castle of the Bat #1; Batman: Bloodstorm #1; Batman: Brotherhood of the Bat #1; Batman: KnightGallery #1; and Batman: Man-Bat #1-3.
Talent on these stories is epic, including writers Brian Augustyn, Chuck Dixon, and Doug Moench, and artists Norm Breyfogle, Kelley Jones, Mike Mignola, and others.
The 1,384-page hardcover will be released on March 17, 2026 at $175 MSRP.
On the other end of the price/size spectrum, DC will release a Compact Comic version of Batman: Gotham by Gaslight in January (see “DC Adds Compact Comics“).
