Restoration Games launched Return to Dark Tower: Expeditions, a new expansion for Return to Dark Tower, onto Kickstarter.
In this is a full expansion for the base game (see ” ‘Return to Dark Tower’ Gets a Makeover“), players venture outside of the Four Kingdoms into a distant land to continue the story of the Dark Tower. The expansion adds four expedition boards to the game, which provides variance in the gameplay on different playthroughs. It also adds Torments, which are global effects and enhancements that make the game more challenging, as well as new heroes, Virtues, and gear.
The expansion requires the base game to play. As of the publication of this article, the Kickstarter project sits fully-funded at $732,893 from 5,894 backers (about $124 per backer). This project also has a retailer rewards tier.
