The ICv2 White Paper to Cover the Surprising Shifts in the Comics and Graphic Novel Market

An ICv2 Release.  The ICv2 White Paper, to be presented at the ICv2 Insider Talks at New York Comic Con, will cover the surprising shifts in the comics and graphic novel market that are transforming the business.

“Something unexpected is happening in comic stores,” ICv2’s Milton Griepp said in a preview of his presentation of the ICv2 White Paper at the ICv2 Insider Talks at New York Comic Con.  “The shift began last year and accelerated this year, and the ICv2 White Paper is going to explore those new trends and where they might take us.”

The ICv2 White Paper, presented annually at the ICv2 Insider Talks, features the charts and graphs that show the state of the comics and graphic novel market in all its channels.  This year, that presentation will show what’s happening as we transition to the New World of Comics, the theme of this year’s event.

In addition to looking at long-term trends in the U.S. comics market, the ICv2 White Paper will also feature 2025 trend analysis through Spring and Summer, the top sellers in comic stores in Summer 2025, and the latest comic store market share info.

The ICv2 Insider Talks: The New World of Comics, an industry event for business and creative professionals, will be held from 5:15-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, in the dramatic 4th Floor River Pavilion at the Javits Center, in association with New York Comic Con.

If you are a business or creative professional and would like a free invitation to the event, email Conferences@ICv2.com.  You must also have a New York Comic Con badge in one of their pro categories to attend.
