Twenty-Four Hours of Local Comic Shop Day

Comic retailer organization ComicsPRO has announced that streaming network the EXP (Comic Shopping Experience) will feature 24 hours of special programming in association with Local Comic Shop Day this Saturday, September 27.  Both live and pre-recorded programming will be included, featuring interviews with creatives, publishers, retailers, and more.

A session with Wes Eastin, the director of Shopping for Superman and a screening of the film (see “Comic Store Documentary Trailer“) will cap the day on Saturday evening.

Local Comic Shop Day will feature exclusive variants, limited-print items, line-wide discounts, event-in-a-box packs, signed bookplates, and product tie-in materials, including book club materials, release party swag, etc., all limited only to LCSD registered storefronts (see “Revamped Local Comic Shop Day“).

The EXP (Comic Shopping Experience) was launched in 2021 as a way to support shopping at comic stores (see “ICv2 Interview: Comic Shopping Experience Co-Founders“).
