The day has come, and fans can binge on some new The Boys content once more, with the hotly anticipated debut of Gen V‘s second season. This bundle is full of bloody good graphic novels. Front and center is every single The Boys comic book ever published, by co-creators Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and other great artists including Russ Braun, John McCrea, Carlos Ezquerra, and more. In total the franchise comes out to nearly 100 issues of comics, well over 2,000 pages of top tier reading. That includes the core series, three tie-in miniseries, and the epilogue/coda Dear Becky published in the past several years.
On top of all that, Dynamite has curated a slate of additions to thematically tie into Gen V’s teen superheroes premise and as a fun contrast against The Boys. Other hits from across the 20-plus years of publishing include Evil Ernie, The Ninjettes, Vampirella vs. the Dark Powers, Project Superpowers: Hero Killers, and several other gems. Additionally, a portion of proceeds from sales of the bundle will be going to charity partner the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. This prestigious nonprofit organization fights issues like book censorship with the particular focus on the comics art form, graphic novels, and relevant creators. Comics are often a target of ire across libraries, curricula, and other avenues due to the misunderstood and newer nature of the medium.
