Spiel Essen organizers announced that they have added a new hall as they are anticipating over 200,000 visitors at their convention this year. This show will occur from October 23 to October 26, 2025.
The new Hall 4 will include a large stage area. The area will be used for a side program that visitors to the convention can attend without charge. Events hosted there will include an Educator’s Day on Friday of the show, a cosplay show, and live streaming shows.
Spiel Essen organizers also mentioned that this year’s show will have around 890 exhibitors. This number is actually down from last year’s show, which featured 923 exhibitors, despite the addition of the new hall. However, the projected attendance is roughly the same year-over-year (see “SPIEL Essen 2024 Sells Out of Badges“).
